WHO IS THIS WORKSHOP FOR?

This is a foundation workshop on Online Drama Teaching. Teaching 'drama' involves 'doing' and 'using' drama and so the workshop is highly useful for all those who fall in any one of the following categories - 

1. A drama teacher who wants to explore the possibilities of online drama teaching and thus be more confident about online drama teaching. 

2. A teacher who is not a drama or theatre teacher but is assigned to play the role of a theatre teacher.

3. A teacher who wants to use drama in various possible ways to create a conducive environment for learning and teaching in hir classroom.

4. Someone who has some experience in this field and wants to prepare himself/herself to take online theatre or drama classes with children and/or adults.

5. An adult who wants to update or refresh himself/herself in the field of drama and creativity on online media.

LANGUAGE:
Please note, the medium of communication in the workshop will be English. 

REQUIREMENT:
The participant must have access to good internet connection and a device to connect. 
A noise-free space is preferred during the workshop. 

FLEXIBLE FEE SYSTEM:

• We have a flexible fee system for the workshop. Pick up an amount that you can afford to pay. 
• The full fee of the workshop is 2800-3500/- INR and the discounted fee is only 2100-2800/- INR. If you are financially constrained you can choose to pay between 1400-2100 INR. If you are highly interested to join but cannot afford any fee you must apply for a scholarship.

ABOUT THE FACILITATOR:

Shuba will facilitate this workshop himself. He has already conducted 5 batches of such workshops. Successful running of these workshops qualifies him to be a pioneer of online drama teaching in India. 

Shuba is an arts educator, a storyteller, and a 'drama in education' practitioner who specializes in drama and theatre with and for children. Likes to devise and write plays. Does drama-based workshops with adults on personal development. 

He has been working In theatre and drama for over 20 years. Drama for creative development has been one of his core areas to work on. He is the founder and director of the Online School of Drama.
