Who are we?

Online School of Drama

We are the pioneers of online drama teaching in India. Our team has experts who have been doing drama and theatre with children for 20 years. Our experts have international experience of working with children and are trained nationally and internationally. We have successfully transferred our work to an online medium and we know how to make the best use of this medium for children.

The children can choose one of the following languages as the primary language of communication for the workshop: Assamese, Bangaani, Bengali, English, Garhwali, Gujarati, Haryanavi, Hindi, Kashmiri, Malayalam, Marathi, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu,

Workshops are multilingual. All the facilitators possess working knowledge of Hindi and English

Objectives of the workshop

 To enhance the confidence, communication, and creativity of the participants through the process of drama

 To appreciate and cultivate their love for language and learning

 To support their interest in the art of acting in a fun-filled environment

 To create space to develop their acting skills and to prepare a theatre performance

 To build their basic understanding of Theatre and “Online Theatre” as an art form

 To encourage critical thinking and cooperative learning

 To connect them with one another and to support in building their “social health

How do we do it?

 We have designed this Online Theatre workshop for Children JOY OF ACTING very carefully in order to achieve the objectives mentioned above. Our facilitators are specially trained for online mediums.

 We are committed to our work. We leave no stone unturned to do our best for children so that they can do their best. From our long experience of working with children, we know that a child never wants to miss even a single class. In case he or she misses a class due to the circumstances out of control, here we are to support. We reserve one chance of taking a 'Live recap class' for each child in this workshop.

 The classes are highly interactive and activity-based. There will be a maximum of 20 children in a group so that each child gets an opportunity to do his/her best.

 There will be a minimum of 2 facilitators in each group.

 We have different experts for different age groups.

Who can participate?

 The theatre workshop is open for children between 6 and 16 years.

 The medium of communication of this workshop will be Hindi and English.

 The children must have a device and a good internet connection to attend online classes of this workshop.

 It is advisable to have some space in front of the camera so that the participant can be visible in full and can move around and play.

 The participants are also advised to ensure a noise-free space.
 

How many hours?

 One month-long workshop.

 From 10 May Monday to 9 June Wednesday 2021.

 Online Live classes thrice a week - Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

 The duration of each Live class will be 2 hours.

 Additional 17 hours of offline engagement, assignment reviews, and performance support.

 Total 45 hours of direct engagement with all participants.

 Age groups timing of the classes:

- 6 to 9 Years: 3 PM to 5 PM

- 10 to 12 Years: 3 PM to 5 PM

- 13 to 16 Years: 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM

Fee and registration

 The fee for this one-month-long workshop is INR 4200.

 Early bird discount for those who register by 6th May 2021. They have only to pay INR 2800.

 Fee (4200rs) can also be paid through GPay or Paytm to 9910292819 but if paid through this website, you will avail of a special discount of 500rs.

Total payable amount through the website: INR 3700

 Late admission up to 2 days can be considered if there is a seat in the group. In such a case, an extra class will be provided to bring the child on the same page

Certification

 E-Certificates will be provided to the participants after completion of the workshop for which a minimum of 80% attendance is compulsory.

 The certificate will be printable.
