Who is this workshop for?

• An adult of any age above 20 years who loves acting.
• A beginner who is seriously interested in exploring once own strength as an actor.
• Someone who wants to update or refresh himself/herself in the field of drama and creativity in the online medium.
• Everyone who wants to grab the opportunity to access quality theatre workshop from the comfort of his/her home.
• Someone who loves the charm and challenge of learning in a classroom having students from near and far in age and in the region.
• An theatre enthusiast who wants to add to his/her experience of acting and performing

Objectives of the workshop

• To enhance the confidence, communication, creativity and critical thinking of the participants through the process of drama.
• To appreciate and cultivate their love of language  
• To support their interest in the art of acting in a fun-filled environment
• To create space to develop their acting skills and to prepare a performance  
• To build their basic understanding of Theatre and “Online Theatre” as an art form  
• To encourage socialization and to support in building their “social health”

Who can participate?

• This theatre workshop is open for anyone above 20 years.
• A participant must have a working knowledge of Hindi or English.
• The participants must have a device and a good internet connection to attend online classes of this workshop.
• It is advisable to have some space in front of the camera so that the participant can be visible in full and can do physical activities comfortably.
• The participants are also advised to ensure a noise-free space.

Timetable

• From 6th February Saturday to 28th March Sunday 2021.  6:15 pm to 8:15 pm - on Saturdays and Sundays only.
• Total 16 days (2 months/8 weekends) workshop.
• Additional 8 hours of extra classes. *Compulsory and optional assignments. *Support for assignments. *Comments on assignments. *Extended support for individual preparation for the solo performance.
• Total 40 hours.
